70 trees have been installed to offer shade around the track's lower end, near the basketball courts, along the path leading from the upper trail to lower trail, and beside the pavilion. Trees have also been placed in the detention pond area and on slopes to prevent erosion. Additional trees will be placed to provide color along the lower park entry road and at the Bouldercrest Park entryway sign.
